Dr. Paulo Soares

Dr. Soares is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering / Polytechnic School at the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana (PUCPR). He directs the Laboratory of Biomaterials and Surface Engineering (LaBES) which currently includes 3 postdocs, 4 Ph.D. students, 5 MSc students, and 4 BS students. He also directs the Center for Materials Characterization, including several materials characterization equipment.
